Westbrook Lobster
opened in 1957 at the foot of the 'Singing Bridge" in Westbrook. The business
was purchased by the present owners, Larry and Joanne Lariviere, in 1989. The
present facility was built and opened in 1995 to allow space for a seafood
restaurant. Clinton Mini Golf Course was previously on this site.
Fresh fish is purchased daily from the ports of New Bedford, Boston, Point
Judith and Stonington. Our Lobster holding system is the largest in Middlesex
County with a capacity of 5000 pounds, and a state of the art filtration and
chilling system. We do not purchase or serve any seafood treated with chemical
additives or preservatives All fried food is prepared in 100% Soybean Oil which
is the absolute lowest in saturated fat and is also cholesterol free. Most of
the seafood we serve is also available in our fresh seafood market. We also ship
Lobster and Clambakes next day air anywhere in the United States. Ask your
server for one of our mail order flyers.
We strive to provide you a pleasurable dining experience in a clean, comfortable
atmosphere. Our goal is to always serve the best quality seafood at reasonable
