Dear Friends, The Yankee Silversmith Inn is a Connecticut Landmark Country Inn. "A New England Dining Experience!" As you enter, feel the ambiance of yesteryear surrounding yourself with antiques in our historic setting. Enjoy casual and fine dining. On SUNDAY, The Inn offers a spectacular Buffet Champagne Brunch from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Light Fare and Dinners are served SUNDAY from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Luncheon, Light Fare and Dinners are served from Tuesday through Saturday. The Tavern Restaurant, with true colonial atmosphere and the original homestead's stone fireplace, creates the perfect setting for an intimate, romantic dinner. The Railroad Depot Room is a reproduction of classical Victorian elegance, complete with a large fireplace to complement the feeling of hearth and home. The charm of the Colonial and Victorian periods is reflected throughout the Inn by original, historical antiques, memorabilia, and authentic architectural artifacts. The entranceway or Sitting Room has been created to provide a comfortable setting for our guests upon their arrival to the Inn. Our Victorian Room, decorated in true period style, can accommodate as many as 200 guests for private - functions from Weddings to Seminars. Our Heritage Room and Wallingford Room also reflect the colonial warmth and tradition of the Inn. The Heritage Room can accommodate up to 60 guests and the Wallingford Room up to 40 guests. Our banquet facilities are the ideal setting for Weddings, Corporate Meetings and all Social Functions. Stroll along our Terrace Gardens which are perfect for pictures, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
